About the Managing Partner and Founder : Jeffrey G. Stryker
Jeff is the Founder and Managing Partner of HPES Global. He has been working in the search industry since 1999, and living in Asia for the past 30 years. Prior to search Jeff held various positions from product management, sales, marketing, HR to General Management. In 1999, Jeff joined Templar Executive Search (part of the Adecco Group) as their Managing Director for China, based in Beijing. There he built up a successful practice managing both the Beijing and Guangzhou operations as well as sitting on the board of the joint venture. In 2000, Jeff was recruited by AT Kearney Executive Search to join their Asia Pacific team in Hong Kong. In 2002, Jeff started Hunt Partners Executive Search Hong Kong and was a key leader within this organization; building their Asia Pacific business. In 2012, Jeff then joined a global firm where he headed up the Thailand and South East Asia operations before locating back to Hong Kong as the lead regional supply chain consultant for Asia.
Jeff’s key focus segments are: Manufacturing, Industrial, Supply Chain/Logistics and FMCG. Whilst working at the C-Level is his main expertise he also specializes in board advisory work (NED’s) and projects.
Throughout His 20-year search career, Jeff has assisted over 190 different companies in recruiting more than 435 executives. He has a solid reputation and is often invited to speak about the Executive Search industry in Asia, as well as on talent assessment and development. Jeff is also actively involved in a variety of local charities and boards.
Jeff attended Gordon College in Wenham Massachusetts, majoring in Political Science and Economics. In May 2000, he graduated from City University in Seattle with a Masters in Business Administration. Jeff speaks and reads fluent Mandarin Chinese. He currently lives with his wife in Hong Kong and Bangkok.
